This is our Achievement Page. It displays just some of the brilliant out of school work that our pupils produce all the time. 



2011 - 2012

Triathlon Triumph
On the 29th August Alison Mitchell (P4) came 4th in a girl's triathlon



Harvey Pizey (P7) passed his Grade 2 Violin exam
summer 2011



Catherine MacLeod  (P6) participated in her first fiddle gig playing to an audience.



Hazel Bovil  (P7) got her second level award in skiing.



Morven Greenlees (P6) won an Art competition and attended
an award ceremony at the Falkirk Wheel.



Julia Anderson (P4)  and Eva Dallas (P5) passed their Grade 1 Ballet exams with merit.



Aaron Buchanan (P3) achieved his 6th KYU (Red Belt) for Karate in November.



Freya Tinto (P2) has achieved her Level 1 in Ice Skating



Daniel Crawford (P2) has got his Level 3 in Ice Skating and achieved a Red belt in Karate and Julia Anderson (P4) got her Green belt.

 




2010 - 2011

Artistic Talent Recognised

 

Zoe (Primary 7) was recently invited to the Lighthouse in Glasgow where she was presented with an award for her great piece of artwork: My Perfect Place. Well done Zoe, we are very proud of you. 

 

Actor in Residence

Cameron (Primary 6) recently participated in The Stirling Gang Show at the MacRobert Arts Centre, Stirling University. He entertained huge audiences over a six night period. "It was great fun and an exciting experience"
Well done Cameron, a tremendous opportunity.


Swimming Gala

Madeleine (Primary 7) recently competed in a swimming gala with her swimming club at The Peak Sport Facility, Stirling.
She received a trophy for being "the eleven Year old club champion"

Chloe (Primary 7) Participated in a Guide Swimming Gala and came second place in the Back Stroke.


Charity Cycle

Lorna (Primary 5) took part in a charity cycle last term. She cycled 15 miles! What an achievement.

Fraser Park (P3) cycled  5 miles to Kippen.


Fast Feet

 Ella in (Primary 2) recently acheived grade one in ballet. We all hope she will keep going and get her grade two. Well done Ella.


Stretchy people

Struan and Alison in (Primary 2) have advanced to the top group in gymnastics.Very good work. Maybe we will see you in the Olympics.


Champions on ice

Maisy in (Primary 3) has attained her level 7 ice skating certificate.

Hazel (Primary 6) attained her level 8 ice skating certificate.

Karate madness

Julia got her orange belt in karate, Max got his yellow belt and Archie also got his red belt. They are all (Primary 2 and 3). Well done your doing very well.

Fraser Park (P2) recently got his white belt in karate. Good work Fraser. 


Underwater madness 

Sarah in (Primary 3 ) got her level four swimming. Great work your doing very well Sarah good luck in the future.

Sophie Anderson (P2) got her level 2 in swimming. Well done Sophie.


British Cyclo-Cross Championships
On the 9th January I went down to Derby in England for the British cycle-cross championships. I didn’t really want to do the race but as soon as I took my bike off the rack I got my act together and competed. I am so glad that I did. I was second girl by an inch, the girl behind me just shot in front of me, I really enjoyed the race and had an amazing day.

Swimming Gala

Carra, Kirsty, Hana, Madeline and Katie participated in Guides swimming Gala. Hana won 3rd place in breaststroke and Carra and Kirsty came 4th overall for their age group.

Horse Riding

Nadia (primary 7) jumped an 85m rustic course and was the youngest in her session at a recent horse riding event.

Rangers Soccer Star

Alex Ferguson (P3) plays for the Rangers soccer team and recently won a medal(this month).

Cross Country Star

Alison Mitchell (P3) recently came 2nd place in a cross country race in March. Well done Alison!
