Pupil Council
Pupil council is a group of children from each class. One representative in classes 1, 2, 3 and classes 4,5,6,7 have two.
They help with choosing a charity to raise money for each year and decide dates of events. They ask questions in each class on what new toys people would like, litter or other issues in the school they are concerned about and take this to the pupil council meetings for discussion.

Ultamite Dodge Ball
Last year, the charity we raised money for was the British heart foundation. We (as a school) raised £757.55, but we got to keep £151.49 this money has been used to buy equipment. To raise this amazing amount of money we played a game of dodge ball.
What we did was we practiced for a few weeks and then it came to the day when the whole school got together and played the final game and they announced that the green house had won, well done greens
JRSO
At Gargunnock Primary School we have a JRSO (Junior Road Saftey Officers) team who try to promote road safety in the school. They have a notice board outside Mrs Scotts office. This year we have 4 members of JRSO who are Evie (P5), Lorna (P6), Maisie (P7) and Duncan(P6). We have invited our local police officer to our metting in January. We run lots of competitions to do with road safety where pupils in the school can win prizes. As a JRSO team they meet regulary to discuss road safety issues and how to solve them. They also discuss how they can promote road safety in the school ( competitions, events etc..)
