Gargunnock Primary School Staff 2011 - 2012

This is our Teachers & Staff page. It should hopefully tell you all you need to know about our staff at Gargunnock Primary School and how nice they are! Underneath their pictures they have their personal interviews.

Mr Black
(Head teacher)

This is Mr Black. He is the headteacher of Gargunnock Primary School.

He has one sister who is three years older. When he was younger he wanted to be a champion tennis player, and his idol was the runner Steve Cram.

His favourite childhood toy was an electronic game called Pac-Man. His favourite teacher was called Miss Watson in P2. He had some dogs when he was young.

Mr Black's favourite day is any day during the summer holidays when the sun is shining. He used to be a kitchen porter in a hotel.

Mr Black's most annoying word is "random". His favourite colour is blue and his favourite ice-cream flavour is banana.

Mrs_Ross

Mrs Ross
(P1/2 Teacher)

This is Mrs Ross and she teaches P1/2. Her dream house is a peaceful cottage in the countryside with log fires and beautiful views.

When she was young she wanted to be an nurse and her favourite teacher was Mr Duckworth because he taught his class to sing.

When she was young she also had some tropical fish and had a hamster named Monty, her idols were Roger Moore and Clint Eastwood.

Mrs Ross's favourite toy when she was young was a bike, it had small wheels and a shopping basket.

Mrs Ross used to work as a Personnel Manager and as a bookseller. She has 2 sisters and 1 brother, her favourite day of the year is Christmas.

She doesn't like ice cream and her favourite colour is burgundy.

Miss Jarvis

(P4/5 teacher)

Miss Jarvis is a p4/5 teacher here at Gargunnock Primary School. She has a brother called Craig and when she was young her favourite teacher was her idol. Orange is also Miss Jarvis's favourite colour. When she was younger she had a pet rabbit called Clover and a cat called Shera. Her favourite toy was a barbie doll. Miss Jarvis's favourite teacher was called Mrs Lawrence because she had a caring and gentle manner. Miss Jarvis has always wanted to be a teacher, but used to work in a cafe, as a receptionist for Stirling Council, and in a night club (when she was in university). Then she became a receptionist at Stirling Furniture.Miss Jarvis loves Christmas day more than any other day of the year. Miss Jarvis's favourite word is please and she loves Ben and Jerry's cookie dough ice cream most.Her dream house is a nice villa with a pool by the beach in Spain.

Mr_webster

Mr. Webster
(P1/2, P2/3, P6/7 & Support for Learning)

Mr Webster is a teacher for p1/2 and p2/3 at Gargunnock Primary School. He arrived here in 2008.
He has 2 brothers and 2 sisters and he is in the middle of the age group. When he was young he had a dog called Sheba and a cat called Sammy.

When he was young he wanted to be a fireman or in the army. Mr.Webster's favourite toy from his childhood was toy soliders.

His idol was Johnny Red from Battle Action Weekly (a comic). His favourite teacher at school was his High School form tutor

Mr Lawrence. He liked him because he was calm, but with a good sense of humour.
Mr.Websters favourite colour is purple. His most annoying words are "like" and "awesome". He doesn't have a favourite ice cream.
Mr.Webster favourite day is the last day of term. Mr.Webster used to work in an office and a hospital and he also worked on a mushroom farm.
His dream place is in the hills or at the beach.

Mrs Starrs
(P6/7 teacher)

This is Mrs Starrs. She is the P6/7 teacher. She has a younger brother and a older brother.

When she was young she wanted to be a nurse or a teacher. Her idol was Marti Pellow and her favourite childhood toy was a doll called " Tiny Tears".

Her favourite teacher was called Mr Torrance, her biology teacher as he made lessons real. When she was young she had a budgie called Peter.
Her most annoying word is random. Her favourite day of the year is any day when the sun is shining.

She used to work in a shop selling jeans. Her favourite ice cream flavour is vanilla.

Mrs Hamilton
P2/3
Mrs Hamilton teaches P2/3. Her favourite colour is blue and favourite ice cream is rum and raisin. At school her favourite teacher was Sister Immaculate because she made maths fun. When she was younger Mrs Hamilton admired Paul Newman and her favourite place is Italy. Her favourite toy was a Scottish doll called Moira which had a kilt. Mrs Hamilton has four sisters and two brothers and her favourite day is Christmas Day. As a child she had a budgie, rabbits and a pet mouse. Mrs Hamilton always wanted to be a teacher as a child but has also worked as a nurse. Her most annoying word is "sangwiches" - instead of "sandwiches"!

Mrs_Scott

Mrs.Scott
(Secretary)

This is Mrs Scott. She is the school secretary and she has one brother. When she was young her favourite toy was Tiny Tears and her idols were the Bay City Rollers.

She always wanted to be an Air Hostess. At school her favourite teacher was called Mrs Muir.

Her favourite flavour of ice cream is raspberry ripple and her favourite colour is blue. Mrs Scott's most anoying word is "can't"!

Before becoming our school secretay she worked for the Royal Bank of Scotland and was an Admin Assistant in Wellgreen Nursery. Her dream place is a cottage in the country.

Mrs._D

Mrs Donaldson
(SLA)

Mrs D (Donaldson) is an S.L.A at our school. She has one older brother and her favourite colour is blue. Her idol when she was young was Sting from The Police (a pop group) and

she also had hamsters and a dog. As a child her favourite toy was a blackboard and chalk. Her favourite teacher was Mrs Gemmel from Killearn Primary

because she was an excellent teacher and she was very kind. When she was young she also wanted to be a Tornado pilot.

Now Mrs D works at our school and her favourite day of the year is Christmas. Her most annoying word is " can't or won't "

and her favourite flavour of ice cream is chocolate Galaxy flavour.

Her dream house is in Grenada, West Indies. She also used to be an Audio Secretary at Scot Rail and piloted huge container ships across the ocean! She is a mother as well.

Mrs._Monaghan

Mrs Monaghan
(SLA)

This is Mrs Monaghan she is an S.L.A at our school. She has one sister and used to work as a camp site manager.

When Mrs Monaghan was young she wanted to be a horse trainer and she also had a pet budgie.

At school her favourite teacher was called Miss Clark. She inspired her to listen to all types of music.
When Mrs Monaghan was little she had a toy hobby horse and her favourite singer was Alice Cooper.

Her most annoying word is "can't" and her favourite colour is green. The time of the year she likes best is the Christmas holiday.

Mrs._M

Mrs MacEachern
(SLA)

This is Mrs Maceachern. Mrs Maceachern's dream place is beside the fjord where her husband's family live in Norway (He is half Norwegian). She has two older brothers and when she was younger she wanted to sail around the world in a yacht. As a child her favourite toy was a cuddly panda and her idol was Naomi James (she sailed around the world on her own). She also had a pet rabbit. Before she came to our school she worked in libraries and helped her husband run their business. Her favourite day's of the year are her childrens birthdays and her most annoying word is "maybe". Her favourite flavour of ice cream is coffee and her favourite colour is purple.

Mrs Bain
S.L.A

This is Mrs Bain. She is an SLA at our school. Mrs Bain has one older sister and a younger brother. Her favourite place in the world is Thailand. As a child her favourite toy was her Raleigh Chopper bike and her idol was Tommy Steele. She had a Cocker Spaniel called Sophie and her favourite day of the year is Christmas Eve. Mrs Bain used to work for the General Medical Council and the Royal London Hospital in London where she lived for ten years. Mrs Bain's most anoying thing is when people say "fine" in answer to a question. Her favourite colour is blue and her favourite ice cream is vanilla.

Jannette

(school cook)

This is Jannette. She is a school cook. She has one brother called Jim. When she was young she wanted to be a nurse. When she was young her idol was Cliff Richard. Her favourite childhood toy that she can remember is a teddy bear. Her favourite teacher at school was Miss Banks, the primary 1 teacher, because she looked after her. Jannette had a west-highland dog when she was young. Her favourite day of the year is Boxing Day She used to be a wage clerkess.

Her favourite flavour of ice cream is mint choclate chip and her favourite colour is purple. Her dream place is the Seychelles.

Mrs Parsons

Mrs Parsons is our French teacher.When she was younger she used to want to be a vet. Her favourite toy was a dollhouse. Her favourite teacher was her english teacher at school.When she was a child she owned a rabbit and a cat.
Also Mrs Parsons has a brother and a sister.
Mrs Parsons favourite day is Christmas Eve and she likes the colour red. Her dream place is a ski chalet in France. Mrs Parsons favourite ice cream is chocolate. Her most anonnoying word is "I'mm just... "
She was a manager of a travel company before becoming a teacher.

Mrs Brown

Music teacher

Mrs Brown teaches Music.

She has a younger brother, Charles. Her hero was Wonder woman when she was younger. Amongst all her cats her favourite one was Bonkles when she was younger.

Her favourite colour is pink because her children don’t like it (she even painted her kitchen pink) her favourite childhood toy was a cat glove puppet named Kitty Kitty kit kit. If she was to choose out of all the flavours of ice-cream she would pick dark Italian chocolate. A sunny day is her favourite. Her favourite word is supercalifragilisticexpialidocious. Her least favourite teacher was her recorder teacher named Mrs Gray because she was fun and good at the recorder.
